We live in the last days, you may have missed these signs!
Last days are drawing nearer, are we missing some of the key signs of the second coming of Jesus? These 4 are commonly missed, but you can find them in the Bible! Be prepared!
Over the last years we have seen many dramatic changes taking place in the nature, in our churches and communities, as well as in technology. They all indicate: the time is near! Jesus is coming soon and we live in the last days! So, there is no time to sleep or slumber. It’s time to wake up and notice the signs!
4 signs of the second coming we miss:
These are not commonly preached about. However, they are in the Bible. See if some of them have started to come to pass!
1. Sealed words unveiled
“And he said, 'Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end'" (Dan. 12:9)
Book of Revelation and other prophetic books of the Bible have many mysteries in them. For thousands of years people had no clue of what they were about. However, over the last 50 years many of these prophesies and scriptures have become more understandable.
Bible teachers and preaches get revelations on their meaning. Scientists prove these are true and coming. We read these books and actually understand them! it’s a sure sign we live in the last days!
2. False teachings
They have always been around, but in our days and in the era of Internet they abound. It has become so easy to spread various doctrines and teachings regardless of their truthfulness. And in our days people believe in lies so easily!
Read2 Thess. 2:9-11 to understand that this is one of the major signs of the last days!
3. Loss of power by the holy people
We read about it in Dan. 12:7-9. The real power of Christians is in renewed and transformed life! However, these days people attend churches and keep on living in sin. They lose the real power of Christianity and try to fake miracles or signs instead. Devil can do the signs, but he can never be righteous!
4. Falling away
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first" (2 Thess. 2:1-3)
Isn’t that what we witness right now? Even the great men of God fall into sin and step away from the truth! Some people so easily come to God, the join churches, but then as easily fall away, not being able to stick with the faith and the chosen path.
These signs of the last days are not very exciting. That’s why we hear them preached so rarely. They are not popular. Nonetheless, these are true and we must know them!
