Chief of Army Staff ( COAS), Tukur Burutai, said during the familiarization tour of 82 Division, Enugu: “We are already in Sambisa forest. We have taken steps to ensure that education within the Army is paramount to ensure that troops operate within the rules of engagement.”

Boko Haram has killed at least 17,000 people and left more than 2.6 million others homeless since their six-year campaign began. This perhaps is why the US military now calls it the most lethal violent extremist group in the world.
