Actress Shan George calls out Soundcity again
- Nollywood actress Shan George throws shots at Soundcity for allegations of being duped to the tune of N100, 000 by a staff of the station

The last has not been heard of the situation between Nollywood actress Shan George, SoundCity and allegations that the music channel refused to play her son’s music video even after she paid some money for this.

In 2015, the media was awash with claims and counter claims from the actress and the channel over her son Jaga’s music video titled Summer Rose.
Shan George said she paid the sum of N100, 000 to one Andrew Ameh popularly referred to as Dro in December 2014 for the video to go on air but it never did.
She said she was introduced to Dro by one Deji, another staff of Soundcity.
According to her, she was threatened upon reaching Dro for explanations on why the video was not playing on air as agreed.
She also stated that Dro allegedly lamented being owed for several months by the music channel hence his charging to play songs on the station.
According to the actress, Dro said: “Madam no be me say make u go shoot rubbish video for ur pikin. If u do pem, i go spoil ur pikin music career for this Nigeria o. bring 5oo thousand naira before i play the video or don’t call my fone again, we don’t get paid any salary in Soundcity so we have to do our own hustle to survive here.”
But this regardless, she is not quitting.
The actress appears to be bent on getting justice for her son and some value for money spent.
Earlier today, February 22, she took to Instagram and posted a proof of having paid Andrew Ameh ‘Dro’ Ujah the sum of N100, 000 for which he has refused to do what he was paid for.
The post has since gotten both fans and critiques alike talking on her Instagram page.
