Edo lawmaker laments killings over land dispute

THE member representing Orhiomnwon South Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly, Mr Friday Ogierhiakhi, has lamented what he described as unwarranted death of more than 30 persons due to the protracted boundary dispute between communities in the council and some communities in Delta State.

Appealing to the National Boundary Commission to find lasting solution to the crisis, the lawmaker explained that the two committees, made up of elders and leaders of the council were inaugurated last week to find lasting solution to the problem.
