The Kano State government in the past one year recruited over 2000 youths, the state’s Head of civil Service, Umar Shehu Minjibir has said.
Speaking at an event to mark the National Productivity Day, Minjibir said the state government has come up with various strategies aimed at creating employment opportunities for youths.
He said the state government has made tremendous progress in the area of job creation.
In his speech, representative of National Productivity Center, Mr. Victor Azeeta, said productivity most be encouraged, saying that is why the center is providing consultancy and advisory services to management and workers of organizations.
According to him, this is aimed at utilizing to the fullest all available and potential resources for production.
