Arsenal Triumphs Over City At The Emirates

Mesut Ozil produced a master class performance to help Arsenal to a 2 - 0 win over Manchester City in the Premier League. 

The German provided the assists to Walcott's stunning strike from the edge of the box and another as Giroud slot the ball between Joe Hart's legs in goal to carry his assist tally to 15 in 17 games.

Yaya Toure scored a stunning consolation with a one time shot from De Bruyne's pass but it too late for Manchester City.

Arsenal are now four points ahead of City in second place and two behind table toppers Leicester City.

Arsenal welcome Manchester City to the Emirates stadium in their match day 17 clash of the 2015/2016 Premier League season as the two team could do without their two star forwards.

Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez are in a fitness battle to feature in a match that would decide who will move three points clear of who on the table.

Arsenal are second with 33 points with City third with 32 points.

[article_adwert] Arsenal will miss the likes of Santi Carzola, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere while City are missing captain Vincent Kompany, Paulo Zabaleta and the suspended Fernando.

The last meeting between this two sides at the Emirates ended 2 - 2 with Sanchez and Wilshere scoring for Arsenal while Aguero and Demichelis came to the resuce for Man City.
