Runsewe Commends Bayelsa Over New Hotel

The Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe has commended Governor Sirieki Dickson of Bayelsa State for completing the State owned Hotel which had been left abandoned for a long time.

In a statement, the DG observed that the hotel will help to generate revenue for the state and create jobs through ecotourism.

According to Runsewe, the creation of jobs is of utmost importance as it will go a long way in addressing security issues by curbing youth restiveness in the Niger-Delta.

Runsewe also highlighted the potential of the hotel to attract foreigners, which he noted will impact directly in the local economy of the state and Nigeria by extension.
