Buhari Joins Other Leaders In Retreat

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined other Commonwealth leaders in a retreat today, November 28.

The Nigerian leader is currently at the 2015 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

President Buhari left Abuja on Thursday and is expected back in Nigeria next week after visiting Paris, France.

At the end of the three-day event on Sunday, Buhari will leave Malta for Paris for the United Nations Climate Change Conference scheduled to open in the French capital on Monday, November 30.

Buhari has already met with Queen Elizabeth II of the UK, who hosted a reception for new Commonwealth heads of government at San Anton Palace.

The Commonwealth is made up of Britain, Nigeria and 51 other countries that work together to pursue common goals and promote development, democracy, peace, security and good government.
