Chelsea have announced the completed signing of Wigan Athletic forward Victor Moses for an undisclosed fee.
Moses, 21, completes a busy summer of transfers for Chelsea, following Cesar Azpilicueta, Marko Marin and Edin Hazard through the doors at Stamford Bridge.
A former Crystal Palace youngster, Nigeria international Moses joined Wigan in January 2010 and, after a slow start, made an impression with a series of bright displays in the 2011-12 season.
Able to play from either flank, as an attacking-midfielder or as a centre-forward, the lively forward offers a variety of options to new manager Roberto Di Matteo – a point the manager touched upon in his Friday press-conference.
The completion of the transfer follows a summer-long transfer saga, which has seen negotiations with Wigan conducted in a very public manner.
