Eva Carneiro Drags Jose Mourinho To Court

A former Chelsea medic, Eva Carneiro, has decided to take Chelsea and Jose Mourinho to court for 'constructive dismissal' which will force the Portuguese to appear before an employment tribunal.

[article_adwert] According to the BCC, Mourinho could escape facing a judge if Chelsea agree to an out-of-court settlement.

The Gibraltar-born medic is yet to comment and her lawyers  say she nor they could comment as the legal proceedings are active. Chelsea have also failed to comment on the case.

Mourinho is being accused of victimisation and discrimination and Carneiro's lawyers are alleging he was instrumental in Carneiro's apparent demotion.

Carneiro is also set to land herself a job with London club Charlton Athletic.

The London ​Evening Standard reports that Carniero has come to the attention of Charlton athletic who want her to work alongside first team physio Erol Umut and club doctor John Fraser.

The report reads in part: "Charlton want to offer Eva Carneiro a role back in football after she resolves her legal dispute with former club Chelsea."

Carneiro left the club after she was scolded by Mourinho for treating the injured Eden Hazard on the opening day of the season against Swansea City.

Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn were criticised by Mourinho and were then removed from match day duties. Fearn continued working for Chelsea but  Carneiro left her role at the club.
