One Dies As Cultists Clash In MAPOLY

A yet to be identified student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Ojere-Abeokuta, was shot dead yesterday, November 3, 2015.

The student, who at the time of filing this report was unidentified, was said to be an ND 2 Marketing student of the institution by some students who recognised him but do not know his name.

He was reportedly a member of a cult group Alora and he was said to be the number three man in the group.

He was killed directly opposite Fowobi filling station, along MAPOLY road, Onikolobo, Abeokuta.

The incident, according to some eyewitnesses, occurred at about 4pm.

The Alora cult group is understood to be at loggerheads with their rival cult group, Aiye and had vowed to confront them after the final paper of the ND students and logout exercises.

Last week, four mass communication students of the same institution died while celebrating their final examination, which signified the end of their studies in the college.

The school management had since banned logout activities by the students in the college.

There is presently panic around the Onikolobo, Oluwo, Oloke areas of Abeokuta, as most students living in the areas were seen moving out to squat with their friends living in the town.
