PDP Attacks Lai Mohammed Again

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again come against Lai Mohammed, the spokesman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing him as “a quarrelsome and misguided individual”.

It also said that APC spokesman, who was approved as minister, will end up as a minister without portfolio in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

The PDP named him “completely unfit” to hold a responsible national office in a democratic cabinet.

Olisa Metuh, party's national publicity secretary, in a statement issued on October 31, Saturday, said that the stubborn nature, resort to personal attacks and uncouth description of a rival political party by the APC spokesperson while answering to critical matters were indicative of his background, pedigree, upbringing and emptiness as a low life.

The party further urged Mohammed to “shed his offensive narcissist tendencies even in his desperation not to end up being a minister without a portfolio”.

The opposition party admonished APC spokesman that “having been a beneficiary of the benevolence and forgiving spirit of the senate president, one would expect him now to be mature, decent, civil and more organised in his responses to public comments”.

Just recently, Mohammed had reacted to PDP national leadership’s recent statements on the recent political happenings in the country by saying it is a rehash of the party’s “infantile whining”, which will not save it from going down unless it rebrands most urgently.
