5 Buhari's Ministers Who're Allegedly Corrupt
President Muhammadu Buhari, who is known for his firm willingness to eradicate corruption in Nigeria, has five ministers who are allegedly corrupt or have close relations with fraudsters.
The Nigerian senate has approved President Buhari nominees on October 29, Thursday as ministers of the federation.
The Nigerian leader is likely to inaugurate his cabinet on November 4, Wednesday.
Meanwhile, there are indications that some of these appointees are corrupt and have at one time or the other stolen from Nigeria's treasury.
List below shows the ministers who've had a corrupt accusation in the past.

1. Rotimi Amaechi
The most controversial Buhari's minister, who also is the ex-governor of the Rivers state, has had a petition stopping his confirmation.
He's been accused to have looted the state treasury of billions from 2007 to 2015 when he was a governor. Reports say he stole $700 million and $150 million from that money was used to sponsor Buhari and APC for the 2015 polls.
His screening for a ministerial post was delayed several times and the Senate approved him despite the advise not to do this.
2. Babatunde Fashola
Another ex-governor of Lagos state is accused of launching his personal website for N78 million, drilled borehole for over N100 million per each and building a kilometre road for N1 billion. He reportedly stole $900 million from 2007-2015.
Fashola has denied the allegations, defining the claims as “manipulated and unsubstantiated”.
3. James Ocholi
Barrister Ocholi, who is predicted as Buhari's Attorney-General, is alleged to have high-caliber fraud suspects.
Reports say he represents several controversial clients including an Indian blamed for defrauding several Nigerian banks of billions of naira).
4. Kayode Fayemi
The former governor of Ekiti state reportedly stole $40 million and stashed some part of the loot in Ghana. He also allegedly bought a bed for N50 million. The governor has been under attack lately for lavishing the state funds on the government lodge.

Reacting to a question during thee screening that he spent unwarranted sums of money to build a government house during his tenure as governor, Fayemi said he met a two-bedroom apartment government house and so decided to build a befitting government house. He said the government house was a multipurpose house.
5. Aisha Alhassan
She was accused of embezzlement as Chief Registrar of the Federal Capital Territory High Court from 2003 to 2009. She has married thrice and it was never because a husband died.
