Man Arraigned Over ‘Raping’ Two Sisters In Kaduna

A middle-age man Garba Tanimu was yesterday arraigned before a chief magistrate’s court in Kafanchan town of Kaduna State for allegedly raping two sisters.

Prosecutor Sgt. C O Obi told the court that the accused had approached the elder one who turned down his proposal and so “he decided to call the younger one who equally rejected”.

“Tanimu had asked the 16 year-old girl to call her 18-year-old elder sister on phone and they now came. Tanimu then poured some substance like powder on the floor and when the two girls inhaled the substatnce, they lost consciousness and he pulled them and had carnal knowledge of them in his room,” the prosecutor said.

He said the elder sister girl quickly reported the matter to some military men at a checkpoint when she woke up and saw herself in Tanimu’s room located in the Kafanchan metropolis. Chief magistrate Sammy Daka adjourned the case for further mention.
