About 20 civil society organizations, including the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Stand Up Nigeria, Coalition Against Corrupt Nigerians, Transparency, and Conscience Nigeria (CN) yesterday said that the Federal Government acted appropriately with the recall of embattled Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Arunma Oteh.
The groups also described as wicked what they described as the ongoing campaign of calumny against the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, over the oil subsidy saga.
Addressing newsmen, the groups led by the Executive Director, Conscience Nigeria, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju said, “Please let us allow this woman to continue with her good work in the aviation sector since we can see obvious differences. This attempt to rope her into the subsidy saga is not fair.
President Goodluck Jonathan is in a better position to assess her and her deeds”.
