He also implored them to make prompt payment of the loan within the stipulated period to avoid default and occurring interest, stating that Fadama III Project would guide Fadama Communities to secure loans when it’s necessary in order to sustain the community investments after the expiration of the World Bank Support.
In his address at the occasion, the Operation Manager of the Bank, Mal. He expressed his bank’s gratitude for the prompt payment of the loans granted to the group in the 2011 farming season.
Earlier in his address at the occasion the Chairman of Ganjin Makoda Fadama Community Association, Aliyu Madugu, expressed his happiness for the assistance given to his group by the project and Danbatta Makoda Micro-Finance Bank for granting them the loan this year.
The loan, according to him, would be used to improve their farming activities such as crop production and marketing.
