Compass Newspaper Editor Recovers Stolen Car

The Editor of the Nigerian Compass, Gabriel Akinadewo, on Tuesday recovered his Toyota Avensis official car, which was snatched by armed men in police uniform on Sunday night.

The editor’s car was found abandoned at Kola Bus Stop on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Lagos State on Monday morning.

It was recovered on Tuesday morning, The Eagle Online reports.

The car was snatched on Sunday at about 10p.m at Agidingbi, Ikeja area of Lagos State.

Residents and shop owners at Kola Bus Stop told Akinadewo that they met the car parked by the road side on Monday morning.

Members of the Oodua Peoples Congress in the area, who were contacted by Akinadewo, found the car at the spot and reported back to him.
