A tape in which Monica Lewinsky recorded sexy messages to Bill Clinton has surfaced more than 15 years later.
Recorded before the scandal surrounding the affair nearly brought down a presidency, the tape reveals "sexy" messages inviting the President to meet with Lewinsky in secret.
The tape was obtained by the National Enquirer, which will publish the full report on Thursday (Aug. 1). From beginning to end, the recording only lasts three minutes and 47 seconds. Dated to Nov. 1997, the cassette itself is addressed only to "Handsome."
Why did the sexy-message tape appear now, so long after the scandal ended? Reportedly, the Enquirer's copy was made by someone involved with the original cover-up in the '90s. Other evidence at the time was supposedly destroyed.
