Nigerian winger, Ahmed Musa continued his rich vein of goal scoring form as he netted for Russian club, CSKA Moscow in the Premier League on Saturday.
Musa's effort on 72 minutes helped the army club overcome Krylya Sovevtov 2-0 at the Metallurg Stadion on match day 20 of the 2012/13 season.
The win sees CSKA extend their lead at the top of the Russia Premier League by five points off the second placed Anzhi Makhachkala who have a game in hand.
Musa's accomplishments on Saturday also means that he is now the second top scorer in the league with 9 goals with only Zenith St. Petersburg's Alexander Kerzhakov (with 10 goals this term) netting more.
The former Kano Pillars attacker will fancy his chances of overtaking the Russian international at the top of the scorer's charts as he is currently in great form in front of goal following his well-taken hattrick in CSKA's 3-0 friendly win against Bate Borisov on March 1.
The 20 year-old, who was this week called up to the Nigeria squad that will face Kenya in a 2014 FIFA world cup qualifier on March 23 in Calabar, has 24 times for the Super Eagles, scoring 4 times.
