A 9 year old boy, Jason D’Arcy, ran for his life after he was said to have been stabbed once by crazed Nathaniel Flynn.
The trail of blood on steps and a door show where the terrified stabbed boy escaped a madman who allegedly killed his own grandma.
Moments earlier Flynn, 26, is believed to have repeatedly stabbed 84-year-old Louisa Denby — described by locals as “everyone’s grandma”.
Police found Mrs Denby's body in her bedroom around midnight last night with multiple stab wounds.
Neighbours said Flynn moved in with Mrs Denby around four years ago after living with his mum Susanne Flynn, 56, in America, and was said to have been out of work.
The suspect is said to have tried to abduct an eight-year-old girl in her garden 100 yards away, after stabbing Jason.
Jason was airlifted to hospital where he was “stable” last night after surgery to chest and arm wounds. Dad Lee said: “He is a very brave little boy.” The family is still recovering after Jason’s mum Tracey died last year from a long illness.
The lad had been going home for a drink after skateboarding when he was attacked. Jason was attacked around 5pm on Monday and 10 minutes later Flynn allegedly chased the girl in her garden. Cops arrested Flynn at 4.10am yesterday after a member of the public spotted him in nearby Idle, Bradford.
