Blatter To Attend FIFA U-20 World Cup Kick-off

FIFA President Joseph Blatter will attend the official opening of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013, kicking off with the Cuba - Korea Republic game. He is also expected to grace the game between Nigeria and Portugal, to be played in Kayseri on Friday 21 June.

“The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the second oldest FIFA tournament, one of the most important within FIFA’s competitions, involving 24 teams, and where so many future footballing talents are revealed. As FIFA President, I consider it important to be there when the action starts,” said president Blatter, who will then return to Brazil for the final week of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
