Police arrest robbery suspects in Zamfara 4 years ago 6

THE Police in Zamfara State have arrested five robbery suspects across two local councils during their patrol operations.

The state Commissioner of Police, Akila Usman Gwary, disclosed this yesterday in Gusau during a media briefing at the Police Headquarters in the state capital.

Gwary gave the names of the suspected robbers as Ali Yabo, Sani Olo, Abubakar Yabo, Jamilu Shehu and Lawali Shehu.

He also stated that axes, cutlasses, locally-made guns, motorcycles and charms were recovered from the suspects.

According to him, the suspects allegedly robbed residents of Magami Village in Kaura Namoda Local Council and Wanke Village of Gusau Local Councils areas of the state.

Gwary said they would be charged to court after the police must have completed their investigations. Home Page
