NYCN Election: Aggrieved Parties Should Go To Court – Akoh

The chairman board of trustees of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ambassador Dickson Akoh, has urged all aggrieved parties in the recently conducted election of the council to approach the courts with their claims and not embark on a media campaign of falsehood as they are doing.

Akoh, who is also the deputy president of the NYCN, was reacting to allegations that there were no elections at the Makurdi, Benue State congress of the council and that leaders were imposed on the council by the presidency insisted that the congress took place and elections conducted into all elective positions of the council, even as he said he had video clips to back his claim.

He said the judgement of a federal high court ordered the NYCN to conduct a congress within six months and part of the congress required the council to review its constitution which has been done and sent to the corporate affairs commission.
