Porto centre-back Eliaquim Mangala has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a summer move to Chelsea under Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho is the red-hot favourite to be named as the next coach of the Stamford Bridge side and is reported to have targeted the France Under-21 international.
Mangala admits one stumbling block to any possible switch could be his desire for regular football, with Chelsea's defensive options currently strong.
John Terry, David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic can all operate at the heart of the defence, meaning the 22-year-old may have to be patient if he moves to the Premier League.
Mangala is quoted as saying by The Sun: "It's flattering because Chelsea are a great club and Mourinho is a great coach.
"I intended to stay in Porto but you never know what will happen in football, especially when big clubs are involved.
"At Porto I play every week and I am involved in the title fight and the Champions League. And that is important to me."
