Falcon Petroleum Gets ISO Certification

Falcon Petroleum Limited has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Certificate of Quality and is now accredited by both the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.

This certification, according to a statement by a firm on Tuesday, is a global mark of quality confirming the firm’s quality management system is designed and being operated in line with stringent international standards.

On the quality certification, the Managing Director, Falcon Petroleum, Prof. Joseph Ezigbo, was quoted in the statement as saying, “The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification is for us a significant milestone achievement for Falcon Petroleum and serves as a testament of our ongoing commitment to quality and continual improvement in all facets of our operations over the years.

“In our 19years of business operations, we have remained dogged in our contribution to the delivery of quality and safe engineering service.

“In line with this therefore, our internal systems of policies and procedures have been streamlined over the years to ensure we continue to drive up the value we deliver to our customers and stakeholders.”

The certification followed a series of intensive and comprehensive audits of the company’s systems, processes and procedures at its various offices and installations, Ezigbo said.

He added that world over, visionary organisations place importance on quality and the guiding role ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems can play in driving the bottom line and enhancing of business successes.

Ezigbo noted, “Falcon Petroleum is focused on doing our business profitably, and more so sustainably.

“Our organization had therefore embarked on ISO 9001: 2008 certifications within the ambit of our sustainability drive and in commitment to the fundamental principle of our corporate existence as expressed in our quality policy.
