Yola – National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has alerted that the incessant attacks unleash on the nation by some terrorist groups, points to a direction that Nigeria is under siege.
Tukur, speaking to journalists at his country home in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa state Wednesday, shortly after he visited Ganye LGA to condole the people of the area over the recent terrorists attack which left 25 persons dead injuring scores of others, warned that unless urgent steps were taken to arrest the situation, the country might become ungovernable in the nearest future.
Tukur after assessing the level of damages in the town said the attack was an unfortunate incident that all Nigerians should condemn.
His words, "This is an evil opposing good, here are people who attack Mosques, Churches, market, banks, motor parks, police stations without minding who is there, surely our nation is under siege. It is not the question of PDP, ACN, CPC or any political party or any religion, the truth is that Nigeria is under siege therefore all of us most come together and face this challenge."
