Pavol Losonsky led the scoring charts with 17 points along with nine rebounds, Drew Sullivan helped himself to 15 points while Jay Couisnard bagged 11 points and 12 boards.
Joel Barkers and Adrien Sturt led the Lions with 15 points apiece, however, it was not enough to prevent the team slipping to a fifth consecutive defeat.
The Riders raced into an early 12-1 lead, but the Lions threatened a comeback. Leicester were outscored 20-9 in the second quarter with Jordan Spencer briefly levelling the contest at 30 apiece.
The Lions opened up a seven-point lead in the third quarter courtesy of six straight points from Sturt, however, the Riders hit back and held a one-point advantage going into the final quarter.
The visitors retained their momentum as they opened the fourth with an 11-4 surge with Couisnard and Losonsky scoring four points. Although the Lions did pile the pressure late on the Riders held on for the success.
