Police Arrest Businessman For Stealing N2m

Anti-Crime policemen over the weekend arrested a middle-aged businessman in Asaba, Delta State, for allegedly stealing the sum of N2million from a car parked around Konwea Plaza with a master key.

Police spokesman in the state, ASP Famous Ajieh confirmed that the car owner had earlier in the day, withdrawn the said amount from a bank in Asaba and kept the money hidden somewhere in the car.

The police PPRO said the suspect who runs a car wash close to where the car was parked allegedly used a master key to open the car’s doors and removed the money from a sack in the car.

He said that the suspect after collecting the money the anti-crime men of the police got wind of the act and swung into action to arrest him while he was making efforts to lodge it in the bank.
