Nigerian Footballer Dies In Nepal

The player had arrived in Nepal for trials and had not signed for any club before he died at the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Bansbari.

The Nigerian had a heart problem for two weeks and was admitted to Gangalal on Sunday.

According to Ndife´s close friend, Michael Ntife, of Saraswati Club, the Nigerian had arrived in Nepal a couple of months ago and had appeared in the trial for A Division outfits Three Star, Friends and Bauddha.

“We have requested ANFA to make arrangements for sending his body to his homeland,” said Michael Ntife.

Meanwhile African players in Nepal have also pleaded with ANFA to arrange a friendly match with Africa XI and a team from Nepal in memory of the late Ndife.
