The Yola Campus of the Nigerian Law School, the sixth to be established, will commence operation in January 2013, the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr Tahir Mamman, has said.
Mamman made this known on Sunday in an interview in Yola.
“The happy news is that by January 2013, the campus is taking off. We have already admitted students and they will commence registration in the middle of January,” Mamman said.
Mamman explained that the campus would take off with 250 students owing to existing facilities to accommodate them.
He commended the government and people of Adamawa for their efforts and commitment for the take-off of the campus.
He also gave assurance that the management of law school would continue to do its best to maintain standard and equal learning opportunities in the campuses across the country.
The remaining five campuses are sited in Victoria Island in Lagos State, Bwari in the Federal Capital Territory, Bagauda in Kano State, Agbani in Enugu State and Yenagoa in Bayelsa.
