A 19-year-old man is at loggerheads with his employer after it came out that they no longer had a security guard since he had turned the dog into his wife.
Abraham Masinda, from Zimbabwe is employed as a herd boy at Nathaniel Moyo's homestead. It is reported that Moyo accused his employee of playing 'hide my anaconda' game with his dog as every time he checks for it during the night, the dog will be nowhere to be found until morning.
Moyo claimed that every morning the dog came out of Masinda's bedroom hut. Moyo then reported the matter to the police leading to Masinda's arrest facing bestiality charges.
Masinda was hauled before Binga magistrate Mr Stephen Ndlovu and he pleaded not guilty to bestiality charges saying he just shared the bed with the dog and nothing more. The court heard that Masinda and his boss had a misunderstanding after the latter had discovered that the former locked the dog in his room at night.
It is reported that Moyo warned Masinda and told him that the dog was supposed to do its duties at night therefore by locking it in his room he was putting their lives in danger. A few days after the warning, Masinda started again locking the dog in his bedroom hut which forced his employe to believe that he was using it to quench his sexual appetite. He then decided to report the matter to police as he felt his dog was being sexually abused.
Masinda left the court in stitches when he told the magistrate that the dog was his friend and it kept him warm in between the sheets. It was all smiles for Masinda as there was no tangible evidence and therefore he was cautioned and discharged.
