Since the passing of veteran actor Enebeli Elebuwa on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, the Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into mourning once again.
His colleagues have taken to Twitter to share their memories and offer their condolences, even as fans continue to mourn the late actor.
The disbelief in the minds of people including Omoni Oboli was met with unrestrained emotion from the likes of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Jeta Amata, while a few brave ones like Chidi Mokeme and Susan Peters summoned courage and tweeted to bid him farewell.

In a similar vein, popular movie producer, Kunle Afolayan told NET of the impact his death will have on the movie industry. ‘He was a senior colleague and a veteran, although we never got a chance to work together. His death is a big loss to the nation and may his soul rest in peace.’
Another producer, Paul Obazele described him as an elder statesman whose absence will be greatly felt, ‘Enebeli was a great human being, his death is a shock to the whole of Nollywood. He was a gentle man and an actor-production man per excellence. We will definitely miss him.’
Burial details are yet to be announced, and it is uncertain when his remains will arrive in the country.
