UNFPA Donates To Adamawa Flood Victims

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has donated drugs, reproductive kits, hospital equipment and other relief materials to women and adolescent girls affected by flood in Adamawa State.

Presenting the items to the state government on behalf of the UNFPA, Muhammad Sani-Sidi, the Director-General of NEMA, said the gesture was the first of its kind. Sani-Sidi, who was represented by Sani Ado, the Assistant Director, Relief and Rehabilitation, said the items included 3,000 ‘dignity kits’.
