President Goodluck Jonathan, Nigerian business mogul Aliko Dangote, Professor Wole Soyinka and other eminent Nigerians have been listed as the most influential by Business Hallmark Newspapers.
The list released by the Newspaper saw Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi topping the list of most influential governors, while the country’s first lady Dame Patience Jonathan was listed as the most influential woman in the country, closely followed by the Petroleum Minister, Mrs. Deizani Allison-Madueke.
MTN was listed as the most influential brand followed by First Bank of Nigeria plc, while Professor Wole Soyinka was named as the most influential public commentator, Thinker in the country, followed by Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
Just below President Goodluck Jonathan on the list of most influential Nigerians are Senator David Mark, Hon. Aminu Tambuwa, Architech Namadi Sambo, LT. Gen Azubuike Ihejirika, Col. Sambo Dasuki, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
On the list of most influential corporate Nigerians are Alhaji Aliko Dangote, followed by Dr. Mike Adenuga, Mr. Nduka Obiagbena, Mr. Peterside Atedo, Mr. Aig- Imokhuede, Mr. Femi Otedola, Mr. Tony Elumelu and Mr. Oba Otudeko.
Fielding questions from Newsmen on the list, the publisher of the Newspaper, Prince Emeka Obasi, said the rating was an annual event done by Hallmark group to rank and rate the performances of eminent Nigerians.
