Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Dr. Innocent Onuh, while conducting newsmen round the displaced peoples' camp yesterday, lamented that last Sunday clash left many persons stranded.

He appealed to the federal and state government as well as individuals to assist the displaced persons who are now taking refuge at the Islamiya primary school in Otukpo town.

According to him, the situation is beyond the local government council and will require external assistance.

Onuh, while donating relief items to the affected victims assured them of government's support just as he sued for peace among the aggrieved party.
