The Ogba outlet of the fast food giant, Tantalizers, on Friday, was engulfed by flames and was at the mercy of passer-by’s. Witnesses at the scene of the fire outbreak, gathered that if not for the timely intervention of passer-by’s on the street, the entire building would have be razed.
Other witnesses at the scene of the incident also recalled that they were just walking by the fast food giant when they saw fire engulf the building.
Attempts to speak with the management of the company proved difficult as they were not available for dialogue concerning the cause of the fire which destroyed a good fraction of their property as well as in-house goods. Further information led to the discovery of the late arrival by the fire fighters who came long after the fire had been put out by passer-by. Perhaps given their equipments, the building might have had less property lost.
