FG Relaxes Visa Policy

The Federal Government has adopted a new visa policy that is more liberal in nature to help boost economic competitiveness and attract more foreign investment.

The ministry of foreign affairs and the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) met in Abuja to harmonize the modalities of the new policy and also train personnel on how to receive foreigners at ports of entry.

FG Relaxes Visa Policy

Speaking for the Nigerian immigration service the deputy comptroller general, border patrol, ECOWAS and African affairs, Tam Mologe, said the service envisages that this liberalization will lead to an influx of genuine investors, frequent travellers, tourists and other visitors.

The forum between immigration and foreign affairs will help foster improved harmonious inter agency relationship towards creating proper synergies.
