Ghana had taken the lead through Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu in the first half and Kwadwo Asamoh’s second half header.

But Tresor Mputu Mabi and Dieumerci Mbokani were on the scoresheet for the Leopards to level the score.

“I have learnt a lot of lessons from it and you know normally when you are leading by two goals you have to go all out, you don’t need to relax along the line,” Appiah said at Sunday’s press conference.

“I believe there was some small tactical indiscipline which we will try to address.”

Ghana will face Group B leaders Mali on Thursday before wrapping up their first round activities with a tie against Niger.
