Director General of Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation, Dr. Dare Bada, said on Tuesday that the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Chief Olusola Oke, would defeat Governor Olusegun Mimiko in Saturday’s governorship poll in Ondo State.
Bada said in an interview with our correspondent that “the defeat would be possible because the Labour Party’s candidate (Governor Olusegun Mimiko) has not delivered on his promises”.
Bada denied the allegation that the PDP intended to buy votes.
He said,”Our party is drawing its strength from the accolades Oke received during his tour of 203 wards in the state.
“INEC guideline is clear on the amount of money a party can spend in an election.”
Bada said the PDP would continue to play by the rules and not engage in “the emergency tactics of the LP all in an attempt to rig the election”.
