His name sure rings a bell. For those who don’t know, he’s the handsome dude who rules the entertainment world in London and beyond.
Wonderboy, as Mr. Solek is fondly called was in Nigeria recently where he opened up in an interview on his latest work and why he’s so busy to attend church services.
What do you consider your best musical work in terms of what accrued to you sales wise and acceptability?
I have a particular track which I think everybody likes, Mo Nwole Jesu released in 2003 or 2004

Who has made the biggest impact on you in the industry?
The person I know that I can say gave me a platform is Mike Appoh.
What bad habit do you wish you could break?
Singing for so long but I love singing and I don’t know what to do about it.
What’s a strange occurrence you’ve observed but, until now, have never (or rarely) shared with anyone?
None for now, I am clean. I rarely experience any strange thing.
What are you busy with at the moment?
Trying to push my album, it’s my latest handwork. I did the single, WonTi Gbe’wo Mi De and another blockbuster with Sauce Kid called Yonke....
If you died today, what would you regret?
It’s appointed unto a man to die but once, after that, the judgement. Anybody can die anytime, if I am dead, I am gone forever.
If music failed you today, what else would you do?
I look for something else to do, what you pray for is good life and the grace to be alive, no disability etc.
Do you go to church?
I hardly go to church. Divine grace covers me, may God help us.
What do you think about more than anything else?
I think about God but I rarely have time for Him due to the fact that my Sundays are my busiest days.
