Osinbajo commissions multi-billion naira historic Bonny-Bodo road

Professor Yemi Osinbajo has arrived Bonny Island, Rivers state, for the ground-breaking ceremony of multi-billion naira road project embarked upon by the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government.

The historic Bonny-Bodo road is constructed to link up the Island.

Laolu Akande, senior special assistant on media and publicity to the vice president made this known on his twitter page on Thursday October 12.

Akande said the Bonny-Bodo road project is part of the unprecedented over N1.2T infrastructure spend of the Buhari administration.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the office of the vice president confirmed that Yemi Osinbajo gave authorisation to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for two oil contracts worth N640 billion.

A series of tweets by presidential spokesperson, Laolu Akande, on Thursday, October 12, said Osinbajo approved the contracts in his capacity as acting president in July after due diligence.
