About $26bn allegedly missing from NNPC under Buhari - Nigerians react

Nigeria's minister of state for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu, in a letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari has laid some accusations at the door of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

In the letter, Kachikwu accused Maikanti Baru, general managing director of the NNPC of undermining his office and dragging the reputation of the corporation in the mud.

The feud has drawn a lot of condemnation from Nigerians. Legit.ng gathered some reactions below:

Meanwhile as the feud continues, the former Lagos state commissioner of police, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, has said that Dr Kachikwu should have issued a query to Baru before now.

He also said the minister should have copied the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), asking him to explain why such things happened.
