You’re rambling, prepare to face disciplinary committee - Makarfi tells Kashamu

- The caretaker committee chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmed Makarfi, has issued a warning to Senator Buruji Kashamu

- Makarfi urged Kashamu to stop rambling as "he always does"

- He also said the senator should prepare to face disciplinary committee on the allegations he (Kashamu) levelled against him (Makarfi)

The chairman of the caretaker committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmed Makarfi, has warned Senator Buruji Kashamu against misleading the public.

Makarfi dismissed the allegations levelled against him by Kashamu as the rambling of a man who always rambles.

Kashamu had earlier accused Makarfi of plotting to prevent the PDP national convention scheduled to hold in December from taking place.

Kashamu said the caretaker committee chairman for the party is working against the December convention for his personal ambition.

He also alleged that Makarfi was working towards securing the PDP presidential ticket for the 2019 general election.

Kashamu said: "In fact, the December convention of the party may not hold due to Makarfi’s ambition. He is pretending to have the interest of the party at heart, but secretly executing his own personal agenda.”

But in his reaction Makarfi while speaking to Vanguard said nothing will stop the party's national convention from holding in December.

He also said that Kashamu should be prepared to face disciplinary committee of the PDP for levelling such false allegation against him.

Makarfi said: “Nothing will stop the convention from holding, as far as we are concerned. Let him (Buruji) face the disciplinary committee, instead of rambling as he always does.”

NAIJ.com earlier reported that members of the PDP who decamped to Mega Party will face the consequences.

Makarfi said such actions by the former party members would not be protected by the PDP's; no victor no vanquished policy.

He said, the no victor, no vanquished policy only implies that no individual within the party will be punished for merely disagreeing with each other before the Supreme Court ruling on the party crisis.
