Commissioner of finance, accountant general arrested in Ekiti - Fani Kayode alleges

- Commissioner of finance and accountant general of Ekiti state has been allegedly arrested by security operatives

- Former minister of Aviation, chief Femi Fani Kayode claims the duo were arrested while Governor Ayodele Fayose was declaring his intention to run for presidency

- Governor Fayose had earlier declared his ambition to run for presidency in 2019

Former minister of Aviation, chief Femi Fani Kayode claims security operatives have arrested Ekiti state commissioner of finance and accountant general while their principal, Governor Ayodele Fayose was declaring his intention to run for presidency in 2019 under the Peoples Democratic party, (PDP).

Fani Kayode who made this known on his twitter said:"Governor Ayodele Fayose declares his intention to run for the presidency today and whilst he was in the hall doing so the security agencies arrested the Commissioner of Finance and Acc. Gen. of his state. Such pettiness!"

He heard earlier tweeted that: "At the launching of @GovAyoFayose's presidential campaign. He is a deeply courageous man and a great friend and brother. I wish him well and every success.

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, declared his intention to contest the 2019 presidential election.
