Southeast governors mistakenly think they are leaders - Reno Omokri

- Reno Omokri has blasted southeast governors for not standing up for the IPOB

- He praised Senate president Bukola Saraki for saying the proscription of IPOB is unconstitutional

- He added that the southeast governors have failed as leaders

Former special assistant to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan on new media, Reno Omokri, released several tweets mocking the southeast governors for proscribing the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Omokri praised Senate president, Bukola Saraki, for coming out to say the proscription of IPOB by the southeast governors and the declaration of the group as a terrorist organisation by the Nigerian army is unconstitutional and does not follow due process.

His tweets: "One Senator @bukolasaraki is more manly than the entire southeast governors. That one man spoke yesterday and the military denied today!

"I advise Senator @bukolasaraki to write a book titled How To Be a Man and I further advise southeast governors to be ready to buy the book."

He said the southeast governors merely think they are leaders but have failed in exhibiting the qualities of a leader. He accused them of being a lid over their people.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng has reported that despite the controversy that greeted Operation Python Dance II in the southeast region, the Nigerian army said on Saturday that it would launch an operation, Crocodile Smile II, which would cover the southsouth region and some parts of the southwest.

The director, army public relations, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, said this in an interview with Signature TV on Saturday September 16.

Legit.ng gathered that the army spokesman noted that “encouraging feedback” from the southeast after Python Dance I made the army to commence Python Dance II.
