Nigerian man breaks record, wins NDA's highest accolade (photos)

A Nigerian man identified as Ahmed Bature has graduated as the best cadet from the 64 Regular Course set of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

The young man who was a computer science cadet graduated with honours and received many awards from the academy.

Bature was specially recognized for his spectacular achievement during the recently concluded Passing Out Parade at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna state.

According to Facebook user, Abba Ibrahim Gamawa, the young man was awarded the Sword of Honour and the Indian Shield as the best graduating student.

Gamawa said: "Still on Ahmed's outstanding achievements Sorry to bore you with this young man's achievements. It's only because the achievements are so outstanding and remarkable that his statue was unveiled at NDA on their POP. The young man won everything there was for him to win; The Sword of Honor (NDA's highest accolade); The Indian Shield; The Best Graduating Student.No Northerner has ever recorded these achievements in the history of NDA, I was told. I stand to be corrected on this, please. We celebrate you Ahmed!"
