Nigerian Navy screening and verification to start on Friday, August 25

- The Nigerian Navy is to begin the interview of candidates who passed recruitment test conducted on Friday, August 12

- The interview session will start on August 25 and end on September 15

- The candidates have been divided into three batches according to their states of origin

The Nigerian Navy has announced that the date and venue for the interview and verification of candidates who passed its 2017 recruitment aptitude tests.

The interview which will start on Friday, August 25 and end on September 15 is expected to hold at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ojo, Lagos state.

Candidates are expected to undergo a screening exercise, verification of credentials/certificates, and medical and physical tests.

The Nigerian Navy announced that all candidates coming for the interview should bring along the following:

1. Original and photocopies of candidates' credentials

2. Writing materials

3. Two pairs of navy blue shorts and 2 white (unmarked) T Shirts

4. A pair of canvas/trainer and stockings

5. Bed sheets and pillow cases

6. Set of cutlery

7. Four recent passport sized photographs

The candidates are divided into three batches, according to their states and each batch will spend days at the screening camp.

The first batch, which comprise of Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo, will hold their screening on August 25 to 31.

From September 1 to 7, candidates from Abia, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Cross River, Enugu, Abuja, Imo, Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger and Rivers.

While the last batch, which comprise of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara indigenes will start their interview on September 8 to 14.

Legit.ng earlier reported that the navy released the list of successful candidates who applied for the 2017 Nigerian Navy recruitment exercise.

Navy's spokesperson, Suleman Dahun, announced the release of the list on August 22, 2017.

Dahun advised candidates to check their names online at www.joinnigerianavy.com to be sure they have passed the initial aptitude test and are qualified for the verification.
