In a statement by presidential spokesman Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back in Nigeria today, Saturday, August 19.
NAIJ.com reported the statement which reads in part: "President Muhammadu Buhari returns to the country later today, after receiving medical attention in London.
"The President had left the country on May 7, this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then.
"President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017."
After 103 days spent outside the country for medical treatment, Nigerians have greeted the news of his imminent arrival with different statements. Below are some of the reactions gathered by NAIJ.com:
Meanwhile, one of the last visitors he received was Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the Abuja House in London.
After Adeboye's visit, the president took to his Facebook page to thank the pastor for visiting and praying for him.

He wrote: "I thank Pastor Adeboye for visiting today, and for his prayers and good wishes. May God continue to bless him and his work."
