- Governor Ayodele Fayose has become one of the biggest critics of the Muhammadu Buhari administration
- While he does this, he is also mindful of empowering the people of his state in what has become known as stomach infrastructure
- Lere Olayinka released his photographs to show that he started it a long time ago
Some photographs just released by Lere Olayinka, the spokesperson to Governor Ayodele Fayose, shows that the latter had been engaging the grassroots for more than 13 years.
Fayose is currently observing a second term in office as the governor of Ekiti state after he was initially impeached years ago.
Governor Ayodele Fayose is currently gunning for the presidency in 2019 and has started campaigning for this using social media and leading a team to display placards at the recently held national convention of his political organisation, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Over time, the governor has won a lot of followers and loyalists both his state and the country.
However, those opposed to him say he uses his closeness to the grassroots as cover for his inefficiency as a governor. His critic believe he has not much as governor of Ekiti.
Olayinka, who posted the photographs, simply said: “Down Memory Lane: Here is Gov Fayose in 2004 (13 years ago) with his Stomach Infrastructure.

NAIJ.com reported recently that even though President Muhammadu Buhari has not specifically declared his intention to seek re-election in 2019, his campaign posters have been seen conspicuously displayed in Jigawa state.
This is as groups in the north are moving for his replacement by supporting Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano, and Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president.
