Cowbellpedia secondary schools mathematics TV quiz show returns for 3rd season
Four months after over 52,000 students sat for the stage one qualifying examination of the 2017 Cowbellpedia Secondary Schools Mathematics TV Quiz Show nationwide, the 108 finalists are back for the stage two. These 108 students are the best students that qualified from all the states of the federation including FCT Abuja .
The TV Quiz Show which premiered on Saturday, August 5, 2017 is serialized into 13 episodes consisting of 9 preliminary shows, 3 semifinals and 1 grand finale.
The show airs on TV stations across Nigeria at the following times:
- AFMAG Family CH 154 (Premiere) Saturday at 07:00pm WAT
1st Repeat Thursday at 05:00pm WAT
2nd Repeat Saturday at 01:00pm WAT
- AIT Network Saturday at 07:00pm
- CRBC Calabar Saturday at 7:00pm
- TVC Lagos Saturday at 08:00pm
- NTA Ibadan Saturday at 6:00pm
- NTA 35 Onitsha Sunday at 5:00pm
- STV Jos Sunday at 5:00pm
- NTA Kano Sunday at 3:00pm

The ultimate prize for this year’s edition is N1 million and an all-expense paid educational excursion outside the country, while the first and second runners-up will go home with N750,000 and N500,000 respectively.
The teachers of the 2017 champions will be awarded N400,000, while those of the first and second runners-up will be receiving N300,000 and N200,000 respectively.
The winning schools will be rewarded with Mathematics textbooks, desktop computers and printers.
